Questions before filming
Do you need a permit to film in Tenerife?
Filming in public spaces requires a permit from the relevant town council. Tenerife has 31 municipalities and, in general, they don’t charge fees unless parking is reserved or police support is needed. The coastline, beaches and protected natural areas have their own permits. The Tenerife Film Commission, part of the island council (Cabildo), advises on each procedure.
What about Teide?
Teide National Park requires prior authorisation for professional shoots, requested at least one month in advance. Its management plan sets conditions on filming inside the park, so it’s worth checking the current conditions before fixing dates.
Do you film outside Tenerife?
Yes. I film across the Canary Islands, mainland Spain and the rest of Europe. Travel, per diems and accommodation are agreed in writing before the date is confirmed.
How is it quoted?
At a fixed price agreed in writing before the date is held, based on scope, location and shoot days. Post-production is quoted per piece.
How do I book?
From the calendar on the website: select the days and send the brief, or book a half-hour call to talk it through first.
